Haven't played much in about a month...

But I am totally burnt on Civ 5 now.

How is everyone playing the game right now?  I mean as far as the whole boxing versus soloing thing?  I have a mage who still needs to complete PoP, but I wanted to level another character.

If I go melee do I need to box a healer, or has the game been adjusted enough that I can do serious mobs without one?  And while I could twink myself, I dunno that it would make that much difference with the uber mobs that started in Velious.

nothing is set as of yet, but the way PoTimeb is developing I am leaning towards it being a NOT SOLO instance. example - I cant see how I am going to get a necro to solo it without trivializing the whole zone - im ok with that because the instance is coming along very nicely. last night, for the first and only time I altered the mobs in the instance to be more difficult to kill (I have also added additional spawns, increasing the difficulty). plus I am going to be nerfing the AC mod again (because its still WAY over powered.)

I still want the non-Potimeb zones to be soloable-ish, but the PoTimeb I want to be a different beast

Sounds cool to me. Really even the HoH thing wasn't that big a deal, though it can be difficult to find two other people who have HoH access at the same time to help you.

Looking back, if the spawn timers are such that you don't have to wait days for something...

Hedgecrawl in Nightmare has to be the most annoying thing ever. It is entirely soloable except the Erudite might actually get killed if you don't take some help.

Maybe you could give that guy a faster move rate?

Yeah. I played it heavy for a month or so. But now game kind of seems shallow to me.

And for whatever reason there don't seem to be anywhere near as many funky mods as Civ 4 had.
