I've been thinking about this for awhile and wanted to see what others thought on this. It seems anything beyond PoP is fairly broken at this point. Any thoughts on killing any expansion beyond PoP until Osiris has more time to work on the content? I imagine this would likely require a server reset which would likely irk some people, but would probably be required to remove all items from beyond PoP people have.
My reasoning behind this is it is just too easy to get "uber loot" in many of the expansions beyond PoP currently. For example, the muramite armor in GoD is too easy to get as well as any of the other items that drop from Cynosure and the horse ladies. I got my epic 1.5 by going to an Omens of War zone and taking 2 hacks at a guy that drops it.
I enjoy Plane of Time and have cleared it a few times. However, there is not much reason to do it anymore as I got the few fill in items I needed where I couldn't fill the slots with easy to get and much more powerful items from mobs in expansions beyond PoP. I'd rather have a reason to progress through PoP and use the items that drop there as I go up in tiers.
I've played here off and on since Osiris started the server after Furniture shut his down and am a fan of the areas you have put time and effort into. I just think anything beyond PoP isn't one of those areas right now.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this or am I talking into a dead mic?

I have to agree with this. For my part though I liked LDoN, but no one is really doing those anyway.
But I think everyone should say what they think about something like this, regardless of what Osiris might actually do.
But the content past GoD doesn't seem to be done in the EMU database as far as scripts and content. Most of the later expansions don't even have factions, you can wander through them and kill anything you want and nothing aggros.
I don't think GoD is exactly finished either. Certainly not to the extent PoP and Luclin are for example.

Wouldn't it just be easier to follow a progression path yourself if you're so inclined?

in the coming weeks, I am going to see what I can get done regarding GoD progression. I need to get the mititgation system in place first, then I will start on GoD stuff (zones, progressions, etc.).
If developing GoD is just not going to plausible, then I would consider some type of customized GoD progression that allows access.
In regards to a server wipe, I am leaning against that, but I am not married to that idea. Lets see what happens once a 'GoD solution' is in place, I think I would be in a better position to consider the server wipe.
my thoughts on server wipe:
there are definite times where its warranted, however one of the 'mantras' that drove me to build this server was I never wanted to lose any progression(s) I had made with character(s) on a server. I would play on a server (Irreverent, then Vengeful) then the server would go down and everything was lost, period. this frustrated me enough to eventually start my own server where my data would never be lost. I have a nice backup routine that runs twice a day and I have 42gb of backups since 10/25/2014, this includes databases, source files, quest files. Once a solution for GoD zones/progression is working I will definitely consider the server wipe.

I've been thinking about this for awhile and wanted to see what others thought on this...... Squirt Your feedback is greatly appreciated, in doing my 'research' into the melee mitigation project I have found out that Squirt Gunn is the best geared warrior on the server. This is based off of a formula I created that takes into account 'weighted stats' of each class. Your willingness to submit to a future server wipe may help me make the decision when the time comes.
