A couple of issues.
I killed the four Praesertium guys to get the shards.
1) There appear to be no faction hits for killing them.
2) Praesertium Vantorus dropped his Axe of Reckoning, an item that has an absurd +50 str on live. Here it should have +250 str I think, but the stats still say +50. Not sure what is going on with this.
Okay, you get these four shards, then go to to Elnerick Augustleaf in Katta Castellum. He does not respond to hails, and if you give him the shards he just gives them back.
So right now there is no way to get to Seru as far as I can tell.
