Just a suggestion here, seemed like the right place for this.
Is there anyway you could make the tradeskill portion of Elemental and Qvic quest gear be sold on a vendor?
I spent a few hours yesterday trying to level my tailoring to 270 for the piece before I got extremely frustrated with the fact that bamboo wasn't dropping off pandas in Stonebrunt to make my dyes for skillups.
Maybe this is a "first world problem" and if you're vision for the server is for us to tradeskill, I guess that's what it will come to. But I think most of us would really appreciate these tradeskill items be put on a vendor, charge us 5-10k a piece or something.
If this is something you'd consider I'd be happy to put a list of all the items together for you so they can just be added. Just let me know.
Cheers, KRUNK

putting a list together would be great, that will definitely help out. I like the idea of putting some tradeskill items on a vendor for a higher price.
As far my overall vision for tradeskills, I would like to include them as much as possible because its just that much more to the game. But at the same time, leveling up a tradeskill to a high level can be tedious and 'timesink-ish'. I have some custom-quests in the works, and was considering making some task-step(s) where a tradeskill item is required, but only needing a skill of 150 or so.
For certain tradeskill items I would not mind putting them on vendors, with an elevated purchase price.

About the tradeskills...
If you remember Furn had the enchanted bars on a vendor. Assuming someone wanted to take up jewelcrafting, that might be a good thing to do, and you wouldn't absolutely have to be an enchanter (or level one up to 30 to enchant bars for you).
Also AA is pretty easy to grind here. I don't know all the ins and outs of tradeskills but there is some aa like salvage that take some of the sting out of things.
There are mastery things that help you be more likely to make a combination, but I'm not sure they help you level up.
Salvage at least gives you a fighting chance of getting your valuable bear asses or whatever back.
Additionally anything you can do with this is great, because a number of quests like the Coldain Shawl and Ring, and the Signet Earring in Katta need tradeskills at some point (and the Earring of the Solstice).
