Osiris, I have noticed since I have started playing again my mitigation is not what it use to be I cannot tank any high level mobs with out getting killed. During our fennin ro fight I had to sword and board and stonewall just so Ryen could keep me alive with max healing aa . Is there anything you can do? I feel like I went from hero to zero.
Thanks Bashheart

there is actually something somewhat simple I can do here...i have something I can actually adjust in realtime without having to recode anything. I'll play around with this later tonight, or tomorrow.

so after some research, the code I thought was there is not fully in the build right now. I have it partially in the source, I'm somewhat curious why it was never fully implemented.
It makes me think there was an issue when I went to initially code it in.........
All this to say, I'm going to have to TEST a build with new code - I cant say exactly when I would be able to do this. Most likely it would be saturday, maybe before but I cant say for sure.
Again, I'm somewhat questioning (myself) why the code wasnt fully implemented before (my thought is, I probably ran into a problem and therefore left it out).
If everything works with no issues, once it is implemented it will be a 'real time' adjustable type of feature.

I tested something out and sure enough it did not work as expected....(im guessing I tried to do the same thing before and got the same results)
that being said, I have another idea to try*, but I have to leave the house and wont be back till after 9pm**. so I might get to it later tonight, if not it would be tomorrow. sorry for the delay.
* not sure why I didnt try this 'new idea' before - but my coding skills are substantially more advanced than the last time I actually coded this mitigation stuff (which was at least over a year ago).
** i play drums in 2 different rock bands, today is 'practice day' so it will consume alot of time today.

So I coded in some new things with regards to WARRIOR melee mitigation, but nothing has changed yet because it will need to be adjusted. So the server should be EXACTLY has it was before, there should be no noticeable changes yet. Everything worked in TEST....while I dont think anything was 'broke' with the new code that was added, but its possible (as bad as it sounds, I dont have the time to do EXTENSIVE testing, but i did test a few things and all appeared to be well). I'll wait for a few days for any adverse feedback anyone finds. -The code has been added and the server is now running the new code; However, nothing has been altered yet. The mitigation was added in a way that it can be adjusted in real-time without the need for a reboot. The reason I have added the code, but not yet implemented any mitigation changes was because: During my testing I used Bashheart to solo Fennin Ro....I cycled the event (just GM killed everything and then went one-on-one with BashHeart Vs. FR) and was able to get FR down to 1% with not one heal at all. Do I understand correctly that you were getting heals throughtout the fight, and still died?

SO, while we were doing Fennin, I (Ranger) didn't really do any melee at all during the entire fight. With the upgraded to the server, my heals were hitting about 6K and we were having a hard time keeping up. There were times that he had to sword and board to avoid the ramp/repost from Fennin to allow me time to get heals off and keep them going enough to keep him alive during the entire fight. It took about 3-4 times of trial and error before we finally were able to get the kill in, realizing that I just had to do nothing but sit back and heal and Bash would do all the tank/melee work.
He isn't gimp geared/AAed, as you would know from using him during your test fight against Fennin but with the modifications that were put into place awhile ago for War/Monk mitigation, he has a tougher time tanking without me assisting on plopping down the heals. He used to be able to solo the goats in Qvic without any issues at all before but now, he can't even do those without me there to help heal.
So far, during any large fight, if I'm not there to keep healing him constantly (Xegony, Cornaiv, Earth A, or any larger raid mobs) and he doesn't hit weaponshield, he will die. I'm always having to stop off-tanking to toss him heals through any of the events/big fights.
When you did Fennin on the Test, what the without any new coding and using the same as it is on the server?

Just tried a goat in Qvic and was not able to get it down to 50 percent before i died it was doing about 770 770 1600 every round it would hit me.
Ryen meant if i didnt diciplne i would get killed fast.

When you did Fennin on the Test, what the without any new coding and using the same as it is on the server? Ryen it was the same code as what the server is currently running. Just tried a goat in Qvic and was not able to get it down to 50 percent before i died it was doing about 770 770 1600 every round it would hit me. Ryen meant if i didnt diciplne i would get killed fast. bash I'll try some goats in QVIC tonight after work. --Just to clarify, as of yesterday's reboot, the server is running the new mitigation code; however think of it as I have it adjusted to be 0. Zero in this case means the mitigation is running the same as it was before I put the mitigation code in the source. I now have the option of making adjustments to mitigation without having to add any code to the source. (because its already added)
