Hey, i was on earlier, was doing fine before 20, hitting the cap (pre level 20, 20 dmg , the usual) and then i hit 20 and all of the sudden i started hitting max of 7 and mostly hitting 3's and 5's. I hopped off to help a friend transfer on p99 and when i came back and dinged 20 and then couldn't hit harder than 7? Now i know i only have 108 str and i won't see anythign extra but i have breath of harmony and sionachie's partisan, i shouldn't be hitting max of 7, i actually got worse when the dmg cap got taken off... Please help me with this? at least to understand what could have nappened?

I have a rogue who appears to be just fine, he may be hitting on the low side, but at least his max's are 18, backstab seems to be be stuck at 10 but i have a terrible piercing weapon... so its JUST my bard. Just to give as much info as possible.

Making a new bard to test and see how this works, if it happens again, then yea, needs to be looked at, good thing is it was only level 22 so i can get that back quickly

Bard melee should be inline with all the other melee chars, there should be no drop off. But admittantly, I've known bards have needed attention. So it would be great if you would help me out with working out some bards issues. I am ready to re-write code if needed to make the bards 'right'. I should be home by about 6pm pacific tomorrow. |

Bards are tricky animals, i'd love to discuss some ideas with you on how to fix them, i know how easy it would be to OP them, just due to there massive arsenal of abilities.

I made another bard, got him to level 22, same basic thing... he hits 11's at least so its up a little bit, but 11 seems to be his max, i'm going to try to level him a few times to see if its just a level or two that is bugged (Crossing my fingers) but i'll keep you updated.

If you can, try to get one to lvl 27ish or higher; im pretty sure that the DPS will pick up then (you can also wait till this afternoon, we can use one of your bards a tester toon). but that is just to confirm some suspicions I have of what may be causing the issue |

I noticed on my warrior his damage didn't really increase until 52. Once he hit 52 it was significant. Everything prior to 52 was only slightly boosted (I could hit for 105 with a 19/30 2hander). Once I was 52 it starting hitting for 200+ if I recall correctly. Hope that helps.

Sorry I wasn't not at 6pm PAC, I had to stay a little late at work. but I just got home. im looking in this now, the info above does me some stuff to go from. I'll be trying different things on the TESTbox 'envyirish-TEST'. I am going to load the current DB in to my testbox and see what I can find (I'll copy your toon to one of my accounts and see exactly what your reporting versus what the code says). |

took bard until level 44 for his dps to kind of level off to normal. still no signs of anything extra even with 320 strength, but i'm sure once i actually get some good stuff that will change, just wanted to toss you a heads up

I can confirm that there is an issue with damage in the 20s as well. I have a Shadow Knight and Warrior in the low 20s and they went from doing normal damage with their weapons to hitting 4-7 with 6/23 weapons. I'm not sure what is causing the damage drop off, but it's still occurring. Neither character has boosted stats since I've started them from scratch.
Still seems to exist into late 20s early 30s. My warrior is only hitting for 10 with his 6 dmg weapon. Shadow Knight is the same.
