Managed to get into plane of hate earlier today (had to download rof2)
Anyways I got the Encyclopedia Necrotheurgia which gives minion of hate focus first level one for necromancers.
I noticed my pet was hitting alot harder for about 500 which is a huge improvement but his max health had droped to about 600 and armor to 37
Now i like the damage boost but health/armor is about 1/3 of what it is without the focus.

this was reported by someone else as well - there is definitely an issue. I will look at it tomorrow. (I have a busy day tomorrow so it will be after 9pm pacific time).
also my work cutoff my ability to remote into my home machine - bastards! so I cant really do too much from work for the time being. (im working on getting the remote ability from work restored, but its a delicate situation, lol)

I can see where the issue is, I will need to test out things tonight - it will definitely be corrected later tonight. but I can see where the issue is.

do you know if the same HP drop happens with higher level pet focus? (i know it happens with the harpy blade, and encyclopedia necro.)

Not sure if it happens with the others ones but I was told the top tier mage earth pet turns its kinda squishy

I'll log on my mage and take a look. My focus item now has Ritual Summoning on it, which I think is the absolute highest you can get unless some high end item in OoW has something better.
I'm not sure there is a better focus for a pet you can summon at level 65 though. Think all the others have min level 70 or something on them.

Just logged in and looked. Pet is level 74, has 48,849 hp's, AC 2879.
I didn't fight anything, but I guess he still hits for 8000 or whatever it was.
1541 int, and wearing Jennu's sandals of creation which have Ritual Summoning on them.

Wait a second Vamer, what level are you? The encyclopedia shouldn't work on any pets past level 60 (need Summoner's Boon or something better to affect 60+ pets).
Maybe that's not an issue. What level is your necro? But the focus on the encyclopedia shouldn't affect a pet past 60 though.

I am level 59 using the level 56 pet
Just like the old days I am having a hell of a time getting newer pet spells

I looked at this tonight - I think I know what the issue is. I actually have a free day tomorrow after work, so I will have some time to put towards this issue. I have an idea what is going on, but I wont be able to confirm till tomorrow (I apologize for deliberately not being specific as to what the issue is)
