Trakanon is still banishing. I tried several times this afternoon and he kicked me to the nice little cubby by the mushroom people. I thought this was fixed awhile back but it still seems to be an issue.
Ok it seems the problem may be in grouping. I like to box and when I was grouped a player would get banished. Without a group the character would do that ping pong thing. Short term solution for me will just be to un-group characters when fighting Trak.
